LinSig has long been regarded as the most sophisticated tool for the detailed modelling of both complex stand-alone traffic signal junctions and networks of signalised junctions. LinSig’s focus is the rapid design and assessment of signalled junctions and networks and the optimisation of traffic signal times either for a junction or over the network as a whole.

The currently available version of LinSig, Version 3, was released in June 2009. Version 3 greatly extends LinSig’s existing network modelling capabilities allowing larger networks and tools to improve modelling efficiency. The software is based on providing cycle time and phase split optimisation for user-defined intersection configurations.

Much more than just an intersection or network modelling package, LinSig can also be used to optimise signalised roundabouts, signalised pedestrian crossings and priority intersections as well as many other complex network configurations

Hoy & Dorman provide expertise in LinSig, the leading industry standard software for traffic signal modelling. For further information on this specialist service please contact Martin Hoy using the details given on our contact page.
