3D Visualisation

To enable complex structures to be designed and detailed simply and accurately, and to facilitate collaborative working within the design and construction teams, advanced 3D computer modelling techniques are applied to the engineering design process.  Architecture, structure and building services are assembled in a virtual model to provide greater appreciation of the interfaces between components. Our 3D modelling process allows a designer to develop a fully coordinated model incorporating the different design disciplines combating the need for late changes in the design development, meaning engineering costs are avoided in the design process.

Our specialist services company, Strategic Highways, uses 3D animation to present spectacular visualisation solutions of conceptual and detailed highway designs. Alternative designs can be viewed from engineering, landscaping, community and driver perspectives.

This process creates a considerable saving on cost, time and waste for our clients’ projects. The information is available electronically to an entire construction team and can be used throughout the life of each project.  All information is accessed from the drawn model and can be accessed via the internet.
