As a leading supplier of Road Safety Audit support to local authorities, developers and consultants throughout the UK and Ireland, Hoy & Dorman’s audit team staff is trained in accordance with RoSPA road safety engineering principles and complies with the latest requirements contained in HD19/03. We also comply with the latest requirements in NRA HD 19/01 and can carry out Road Safety Audits in the Republic of Ireland.
Our audit team undertakes road safety audits on a wide range of highway and transport schemes including, junction improvements, minor/major highway designs, PFI & DBFO projects and major/minor traffic management schemes.
Audits include:
- Preliminary Road Safety Audit advice to design teams
- Stage 1/2 Road Safety Audit (combined) of minor schemes
- Stage 1 – Road Safety Audit (Preliminary Design)
- Stage 2 – Road Safety Audit (Detailed Design)
- Stage 3 – Road Safety Audit (Scheme Completion)
- Stage 4a – Road Safety Audit / Review following 12 months of completion
- Stage 4b – Road Safety Audit / Review following 36 months of completion
We know that adherence to deadlines is critical in achieving highway approval for developments and our aim is to undertake the Road Safety Audit within a 3-5 day turnaround from receipt of documents. Where possible, we provide a 24 hour turnaround service. Our audit reports deliver comprehensive visual and statistical content that provide a clear way forward for decision making.
